Pension "Rigas" is located in the middle of historic town of Nafplio. It was opened in 2007. The loving restored old house is nearly 200 years old.
The name "Rigas" comes from the Greek revolutionary Rigas Fereos, who lived 1757 - 1798. He was executed by the turkish occupants.

Sie wurde 2007 eröffnet. Das liebevoll
restaurierte alte Haus ist nahezu 200
Jahre alt.
Namensgeber ist der griechische
Revolutionär und Dichter Rigas Fereos,
der von 1757 bis 1798 lebte. Er wurde
von einem Gericht des Osmanischen
Reiches zum Tode verurteilt und
hingerichtet.
La pension “Rigas” est située au centre de la ville historique de Nauplie. Elle a été inaugurée en 2007. Cette belle vieille maison restaurée a à peu pres 200 ans.
Le nom “Rigas” est issu du revolutionaire grec Rigas Fereos, qui a vecu entre 1757-1798. Il a été executé par les occupants turcs.

"Rigas" offers seven rooms, all with aircondition, TV, WC/shower.

"Rigas" bietet sieben Zimmer, alle mit Klimaanlage, TV, WC/Dusche.

“Rigas” offre sept chambers, toutes air conditionnées, avec télévision et WC/ douche.





The rooms and the reception are equipped with old furniture. The rooms with balcony have nice view ober the roof of the old Nafplio.

Sowohl die Zimmer als auch die Rezeption sind stilecht mit alten Möbeln eingerichtet. Die Zimmer mit Balkon haben Ausblick über die Dächer des alten Nafplio.

Les chambres et la reception sont equipées de mobilier ancient. Les chambres avec balcon ont une belle vue sur les toits du vieux Nauplie.

  


From "Rigas" it's worth to walk around the narrow streets and stairs of Nafplio to see for example the old church of Agios Spiridonas (left) and many other historic places. Nafplio is also a good place to start trips to ancient places in the Argolida like Mycenae and Epidavros.

Von "Rigas" kann man schöne Spaziergänge durch die engen Gassen und über die vielen Treppen von Nafplio unternehmen, beispielsweise zur Kirche des Hl. Spiridon (links). Nafplio ist auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Touren zu bekannten antiken Stätten in der Argolis wie Mykene und Epidavros.

A Nauplie vous pouvez visiter la vieille eglise de Agios Spiridonas et beaucoup d’autres endroits historiques. Nauplie est aussi un bon endroit de depart pour d’autres sites historiques dans l’Argolide, comme Mycènes et Epidaure.
